 ..." 7.7.02  I was invited with my wife at the meeting and Reception with His Majesty Emperor Akihito and Her Majesty Empress Michiko at Lichtenstein Palace in Prague at 18:00. In presence of the Ambassador pair Mr. and Mrs. Ishida I was kindly introduced to Her Majesty and as a present I gave Her my CD Calligraphy. Her Majesty Michiko asked me if it is possible to see my shakuhachi. She took it in her hands and inspected the signs and structure of bamboo. Then Her Majesty asked me to play a little bit. I play for her 3 initial phrases of Chóshi. With His Majesty Emperor Akihito I talked about my suizen activities, about my studies of Japanese traditional music and my teacher Kifu Mitsuhashi sensei......"
